Protip: If you have kids, take them first thing in the morning to the Houston Zoo during the week. This is the best time to see everything without lots of people and long lines.

Plus, this week should be phenomenal with the weather being cool and sunny! The animals will be happy and running around, not something you see when it’s 100 degrees outside.

Restaurants to Try

Bloom & Bee - “Bloom & Bee is an enchanting dining destination with a focus on fresh, locally-inspired cuisine. Reminiscent of a lush garden filled with gorgeous blooms, Bloom & Bee invites the outdoors in with extravagant floral accents, pastel colors and a wealth of natural light. Enjoy light sustainable dishes to hearty handmade pastas under an elaborate ceiling of blown glass flowers or dine on the elegant outdoor patio for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.”

The Lymbar - “Discover The Lymbar, a neighborhood craft cocktail lounge where David Cordua infuses his culinary artistry with the rich flavors of Latin America and the Mediterranean. Rooted in a tradition that began on Lymbar Drive in Houston, our all-day neighborhood bar and open theatre kitchen offer an eclectic mix of Latin and Mediterranean small plates, craft cocktails, and vibrant hospitality.”

Rim Tanon - “We recommend Rim Tanon near Upper Kirby for modern Thai street food. Their 4-course dinner menu at $39 per person has first course options like salmon rolls and chicken wings. For your second course, taste a mouthwatering soup option. Choose from Pad See Ew, Spicy Seafood Fried Rice or the Crying Tiger for the third. Lastly, finish up with Thai style shaved ice.”

Look forward to hearing from you.

See you Thursday.
