🥳 Fun Fact of the Week:
Houston Was Almost the Capital of Texas
Back in the 1830s, Houston was briefly the capital of the Republic of Texas. It served as the seat of government before the capital was moved to Austin in 1839. Today, you can still visit historical sites like Sam Houston Park, which preserve that legacy.
That is it for this week. As always, if you have any suggestions or events we should know about, please just reply to this email and we can chat!
Cheers! 😁
