🍔 Trill Burgers Expands with Second Location in Spring
Trill Burgers, the popular burger joint launched by rapper Bun B, opened its second location in Spring, Texas, on April 25, 2025. The new spot, located on Louetta Road, features the same beloved menu as its Montrose predecessor, including smashburgers and fries, and introduces a new item, Trill Lemonade. 🥳 Segundo Barrio Block Party Celebrates Houston's East End Culture
Over a thousand residents participated in the fifth Segundo Barrio Block Party in Houston’s East End. Organized by the Divine Art Coalition, the event featured vibrant displays of Houston culture, including candy-painted slab cars, live hip-hop music, and artists creating murals. Notable attendees included rapper Big Slim (formerly Slim Thug) and District I City Councilmember Joaquín Martínez.
🚌 Houston Metro Launches Direct Bus Service to Bush Airport
Houston Metro introduced Route 500 IAH Downtown Direct, a new nonstop bus service connecting downtown Houston to George Bush Intercontinental Airport. This marks the first direct public transit option between these points in over ten years. The service operates daily from 5:30 AM to 8 PM with 30-minute intervals and costs $4.50 each way. City officials believe the new route enhances global accessibility and streamlines the travel experience for visitors and convention attendees.
