Hello and welcome to another weekend in Houston. You might have noticed that we haven’t been sending out the newsletter on Monday’s anymore but we are going to pick that back up.

With so many events going on in and around Houston it can be overwhelming looking at all the links we share, so we are doing our best to only show you want are quality events and something you would be interested in. So let us know how we can make it better!

The ‘Stros have fallen into second place but they look to be picking up the pace once again. Playoffs aren’t that far away so we have to keep winning.

How `bout them Texans?

The Texans have had some roster moves during training camp:

• Conor McDermott (OT): The team signed offensive tackle Conor McDermott on August 12.

• Recent Transactions: Over the past week, the Texans have also signed wide receiver Johnny Johnson III (August 7), wide receiver Quintez Cephus (August 6), tight end Dalton Keene (August 5), and wide receiver Jared Wayne (August 5).

Upcoming Preseason Game

The Houston Texans are set to play their second preseason game on Saturday, August 16, at 12:00 PM CDT, against the Carolina Panthers at NRG Stadium. This will be the Texans' first home preseason game of 2025.
