Welcome to the weekend edition of H-Town Locals where we give an update on any events shared earlier this week and share new ones! See newsletter from earlier this week with all the events.

Friday
Roots at Rodeo Beach - 5 pm - “Rooted In Love: Roots at Rodeo Beach - Community Block Party is not just a gathering—it's a movement. The energetic launch of our weekend is dedicated to bridging faith and mental health in the Black community. Embracing Miami's essence right in the heart of Houston, this block party will feed your city needs and beach dreams.”
Jagged Edge & Keith Sweat 5015 Black Rodeo Night After Party - ALMOST FULL - 9 pm
Saturday
UFC fight PEREIRA vs ANKALAEV at 8pm - you know all the sports bars will be watching so prepare for crowds.
Rodeo Saloon (multiple days) - “This one-of-a-kind pop-up experience welcomes all to enjoy its vibrant atmosphere, serving as an ideal spot for a pre-rodeo gathering before heading to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.”
Sunday
Third Annual Crawfish Boil at Homerun Dugout - 12-8pm - “What's a better way to kick into Spring than with crawfish, beer, and baseball? Join us at HRD for the best crawfish fest in H-Town!”

Last chance to see In the Night Ballet (multiple days but ends Sunday 9th)
Sunday Funday at the Rink - 11am to 12pm “The Daisies and Pancakes Lab will be serving up lessons to skaters both young and old to improve their skills so they can have even more fun on wheels! Learn tips and tricks from their instructors about maintaining balance, falling properly and ways to glide across the floor.”
